Creative Collaborator

Lou Jent (they/them) is a writer, theater professional, and academic coach who also works as a disability advocate. They have volunteered with Sacrificial Poets and the UNC Wordsmiths as a co-coach for the CUPSI spoken word team since 2016. They and DJ, the Executive director of SacPoe, also have an 11 year-old autistic child. Lou believes strongly in the power of self-advocacy and community. Lou is also person with a lived experience of disability and chronic illness, and they are committed to finding and making joy with people of all ability levels.
