Nature as the Master Artist - Symbols and Sounds

Creative Collaborators Heather Bruneau, Alex Ginsberg and special guests will lead participants in the exploration of local RVA natural habitats and its inhabitants through the lens of vibration, shape and sound as they gather recorded sounds from The James River and Dandelion Springs Apiary and beyond to be used in concert soundscape creation. Class content across programs encourages us to quiet, focusing our full attention on the connection with the master artist, the natural world. From there, as human artists, we create – our imaginations having been open to and stimulated by the natural magic and beauty of the world that surrounds us at all times.
